Dear Mama

Waking up this morning, i was filled with doubts, love, questions & wondering thoughts and emotions.  I know some people may have found themselves in this kind of emotional turmoil. Well it's me being woman and you being same. The mummy behaviour.

People wonder why so many days to celebrate womenfolk. The fact that the gender is undervalued and underestimated is enough reason. The fact that sometimes we are unappreciated despite the fact that your eyes lack sleep from worry, care, fear, love etc. The call out of mummy depending on the tone unleashes yout need to give confidence, love and assurance to the toddler, teenager or adult who calls out.

Their hands may be too small to say thank you but in their eyes and gestures the words are spoken with memories engraved in their hearts.

From your desk to the kitchen

From the market to their sides

From you being weak yet propelling them forward with strong words.

From your kneels and heart felt prayers for them to succeed.

On behalf of all the children to all mothers, future mothers and acting mothers! Thank you❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Don't stop loving.

Don't stop caring.

Wear your motherly capes proudly.

Love you more importantly😍🥰

It's all about you

Today i had a meeting to catch up and in the midst of the morning traffic rush, meeting with some regulatory authorities i still had some time to myself. I decided to walk into a supermarket i had not visited in a long while. That window shopping put me in the right frame of mind😁😄

Window shopping was therapeautic for me today...it takes a lot of discipline.

Oya test your window shopping abilities.

CHOOSING A NEW HOME

It’s a new Year!
Did you create a vision board? Is building a house or owning a house one of the things on your vision board or plan for the year? Then you need to read this.
Some of the key things you should consider when Looking for a house/land to build are the following:
LOCATION:
What type of family do you have or plan to have? What is your vision? What kind of environment do you think will be ideal and what type of environment can fit your personality? Location is everything as is always said because location determines the value of the property and lifestyle. In Choosing a property, take a cursory look at the location of interest and how it fits you and the amount to be invested in the property. Also consider accessibility to major roads and key life saving tools.

BUDGET
It is important to determine a sent budget and financial options available to own or build a home. You need to set a budget plan, how to source for funds or if the funds are available how you want it invested in the property of choice. There are different funding options that can also be explored and payment plans. Read, review and talk to financial experts when in doubt.

TITLE
The title of the property is very important as this is a proof of your ownership. Where a title is defective it makes nonsense of your investment and non-valuable what you expect to be valuable. Please ensure your lawyers review the title documents. Investigate the title to be sure it is best to invest in such property and the person/company transferring the rights has the power to transfer the rights to you.
AGENT/SELF SEARCH
You can decide how you want to search for a property. You can use a very good realtor/agent to search for your property of choice. Weigh the options available to you, negotiate hard and tough, ask as many questions as possible.

I hope these tips a valuable in your search and quest to own a lovely home!
Enjoy your day.

THE LAGOS HUSTLE

Today is a new day.

Grateful for a new day, for the rain and everything i love.

Coping in Lagos is one of the most strategic thing one must learn to do when you get into this part of Nigeria.
Below are some of the few tips that works for me:

  1.  As difficult as it seems plan your day and week: Write a list of things to do, your feeding plan, schedule of places to visit etc. If you are a working class person this is also very important.
  2. Plan your transportation means. If you intend getting to your desired destination whether your workplace or venue for a meeting. Leave way ahead of time. This will enable you to be on time. The advent of google map on the phone has also made it easy to estimate time frame to get to the venue. Also learn to ask questions prior to your visit to the new place. As much as we rely on google sometimes the map pays no cognizance to one way routes thereby putting you at logger heads with some law enforcement agents.
  3. Plan your meal: You have the choice of eating out or preparing your meals before leaving the hose. However, if you are a visitor to Lagos well you may most likely be reliant on eating out. Jumia food https://food.jumia.com.ng is a good website to rely on while also seeking opinion of people. sometimes i try to read various reviews and ask colleagues of the best place to get food.
  4. Live near your intended place of work or appointment: Ideally it is better to live close to your working environment so that transportation fare amd set off time form home is not to stressful
  5. Plan your dressing: Always have something comfortable which can easly transform to fit any meeting type of easily transform you from work flow to causal flow. An extra sandal, slippers can do the magic.
I hope these lil tit bits helps

MY MUSINGS-DATA WAHALA

I have been wondering lately... everybody wants access to information... at whatever cost. The world has also become a small village before you open your mouth a little statement, video, picture etc has gone viral.

We as a people have remained defiant in the face of the rising cost of data. We complain yet we make the global village fun, we have learnt to make people accountable we have also learnt to break people by trolling. As we lend our voice in this internet village, in the streets of the internet of everything let us learn to use our voices in an accountable way.

Freedom and liberty should be used wisely.

Remember the world can only be better if you use your voice responsibly

I look forward to the day data will be free.

PS: Do you know the Councillor representing your area? How are you helping to make your community better.
